#EMPLOYEESPOTLIGHT

  • How long have you been an employee at Elecsys?

    • 8 months
  • If you could pick one of your job activities or a recent project to describe as special, what would it be and why?

    • I really enjoy being part of two special initiatives at Elecsys. I am a member of the Change Agent Team, as well as the Diversity and Inclusion Council. Both of these initiatives offer me the ability to contribute to the top-notch culture at Elecsys. Elecsys really embraces the change mindset, and is always looking for new ways to make sure all employees feel included and valued.
  • What is something on your bucket list that you have not checked off yet?

    • I have always wanted to visit Switzerland to experience Lake Geneva, Lucerne, and the Swiss Alps
  • What is on fan fact about yourself?

    • I can mirror write. Mirror write is when you start at the right side of the page and write backwards, with the letters flipped, so that when held up to a mirror the writing reads normally. Leonardo DaVinci often used mirror writing on his personal notes.
  • What is your idea of a great day?

    • Winter is my favorite season! A great day for me is a Sunday at home with the fireplace on, snow falling outside, drinking cocoa, and watching a Chiefs game with my family.
  • Would you rather be able to speak any language or be able to communicate with animals?

    • Speak any language, for sure!
  • If you could time travel, where would you like to travel to?

    • I would love to travel to the 1870's/1880's. As a child, I was obsessed with Little House on the Prairie and Laura Ingalls Wilder. It would be neat to see the settler/pioneer era up close and personal. There's something about covered wagons and tiny schoolhouses that captures my attention.
  • When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salty or sweet? List your favorite treat.

    • Salt. Popcorn is one of my favorites!
