The DR-46™ is a flexible, energy-absorbing motorcycle protection system designed to work in conjunction with standard roadside guardrails. Developed to significantly reduce rider injuries and fatalities in the event of a crash, the DR-46 installs directly onto existing barrier systems—adding critical protection where it’s needed most.

Note: this product is not CE-approved, as it is protection for motorcyclists tested in accordance with the Spanish directive UNE 135900-2.

Motorcyclists are especially vulnerable in roadside crashes. The DR-46 creates a physical shield between the rider and the exposed edges of traditional W-beam guardrails—helping to absorb impact energy and reduce crash severity.

Energy-absorbing wave design.

Made of durable polyethylene with a specially designed wave profile, the DR-46 partially absorbs and redirects impact forces to reduce the risk of severe injury.

Follows road curves naturally.

Its flexible, modular design can follow curves with a minimum radius of 25 meters (82 feet)—making it suitable for winding mountain roads, highway off-ramps, or sharp turns.

No impact to guardrail performance.

Installs without affecting the redirection characteristics of the underlying guardrail system, ensuring full barrier functionality remains intact.
