Where safety is everyone’s responsibility—and our top priority.
Our employees are the heart of Lindsay and the force behind our success. We do what’s right by them and strive every day to make our company a great place to work. Importantly, a great place to work is a safe place to work. From the production floor to our offices, we are committed to creating a safe, secure, and healthy environment for our employees, partners, and customers.
Leading with the Lindsay Safety System.
We believe that a strong safety culture begins with leadership and is sustained through continuous training, accountability, and care. As part of the Lindsay Safety System, our teams are empowered to speak up, act responsibly, and look out for one another—because safety is everyone's job. Just as we encourage everyone in our company to act like an owner, we expect them to contribute to our progress in the Lindsay Safety System’s eight core action areas, including:
Lindsay supports this expectation with our global environmental health and safety (EHS) management system, which includes incident tracking, corrective action follow-up, and training.
C.A.R.E.S. for global safety.
The Lindsay Caring and Respecting Employee Safety (C.A.R.E.S.) program is designed to reinforce fundamental safety principles and accountability through comprehensive training. A critical component of the program is a framework for peer conversations, enabling discussions about shared goals, challenges, and possible solutions. These conversations frequently revolve around behaviors, products, processes, or environmental influences that could cause harm to our employees or the environment. C.A.R.E.S. features online resources and a recognition program with opportunities to win challenge coins, safety recognition gear, and a traveling Lindsay Global Safety Award trophy.
Innovating with the Lindsay Quality System.
Our Lindsay Quality System provides a framework for supporting and upholding our manufacturing standards. As a result, our teams reduce the potential for manufacturing defects by building quality safeguards such as mistake-proofing and process monitoring. Our customer-focused principles and guidelines help employees implement quality assurance processes and procedures, conduct process and product audits, undergo field and lab testing procedures, and complete in-depth product design reviews. Protecting the customers using our products is essential.
