How long have you been an employee at Elecsys? 11 years
If you could pick one of your job activities or a recent project to describe as special, what would it be and why? The ongoing effort to cut down on packing material used in our process . Any chance we get to reuse or repurpose packing material or switch to a more sustainable material to lessen the impact on the environment I find the most satisfying.
What is something on your bucket list that you have not checked off yet? Riding a horse. Which is funny because I lived on a farm as a youth for a bit and have been around them but never got the chance to actually ride a horse on my own.
What is one fun fact about yourself? I compete in disc golf. I started playing years ago in high school but picked it up again the past few years and really started taking it more seriously and signing up for the tournaments on the many courses around Kansas City. We are really lucky to have access to so many in and around the city and the sport itself is growing so fast that it's only bringing more courses and competition every year.
What is your idea of a great day? Cool summer morning on a disc golf course. Start the day with a round of golf and finish on my deck with my Wife and my dogs.
If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? I guess I'll go with a bird , but one that's not hunted. That way I could enjoy flight without being a target.
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would you invite? Quentin Tarantino , Taika Waititi , Samuel L Jackson
Would you rather be able to speak any language or be able to communicate with animals? Communicate with animals
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? An old ball golf course. Convert it into a disc golf course and host tournaments
If you could time travel, where would you like to travel to? I would not mess with time travel. There is no possible way it does not cause a paradox and ruin everything. That or go back to the Twin Pines Mall parking lot and stop Doc and Marty before they made things worse.
When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salty or sweet? List your favorite treat. Both. I am a big fan of snacks in general. I would say I prefer salty over sweet but it is a neck and neck battle at the finish line.
If you could choose to have one superpower, what would it be and why? Telekinesis. Moving objects with just your mind would be both helpful and hilarious.
