Meet Lamar Nixon!

Lamar is a part of the Fabrication/Final Assembly department and as a Fabrication Technician is an integral part of the Elecsys team. Lamar receives Elecsys’ in-house completed printed circuit boards (PCB) and applies conformal coating which is designed to prevent corrosion and degradation of electronic assemblies in circuit boards. Part of his job duties include attention to technical processes that make the Elecsys products so rugged.

What is something on your bucket list that you have not checked off yet? JAPAN!!!!! I dream of learning about the culture and seeing the mountains. Also studying the world the culture integrates model architecture with the old. Very respectable culture.
What is one fun fact about yourself? I once drove 18 wheelers for two years at a previous company.
What is your idea of a great day? Things not going according to MY plan but according to the larger plan.
If you were an animal, what would you be? Why? Pistol shrimp! It can snap so hard that it briefly heats the water to 8,000 degrees!
If you could invite three people, dead or alive, to a dinner party, who would you invite? My mother, my son at age 60, and my Great Great Grandparents on both sides of my family.
Would you rather be able to speak any language or be able to communicate with animals? Speak any language 1000%!!!
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? Real estate and stocks!!!
If you could time travel, where would you like to travel to? To a time where dinosaurs were still alive so that I could hear what they actually sound like.
When it comes to snacks, do you prefer salty or sweet? I like the combination of both, Sub Zero nitrogen ice cream.
