Five Things You Should Know About Pivot Watch

Did you know that FieldNET® technology offers options to meet every grower’s needs – those who want complete monitoring and control of sprawling irrigation systems to those who only need to monitor their pivots.

“We recently launched the newest addition to the FieldNET line of products – Pivot Watch™,” said Reece Andrews, product manager at Lindsay Corporation. “It’s a monitor-only solution that makes the efficiency of remote irrigation management more accessible than ever before.”

Key features and benefits of Pivot Watch include:

Remotely monitor any pivot – Pivot Watch is easily mounted to the end of any electric or hydraulic pivot – regardless of age or brand – giving you visibility into your pivot operation 24/7, 365 days a year.
Solar powered – Solar technology reduces the carbon footprint and charges the battery pack for year-round visibility with little-to-no maintenance.
Wallet-friendly – Because Pivot Watch has an ultra-low price point, you can allocate your resources more efficiently.
Simple self-installation– It’s compact, lightweight and attached directly to the span pipe with a single strap, without the need to connect to the electric circuitry of the pivot.
Access to FieldNET Advisor® – You and/or your agronomic advisor will have the option to add FieldNET Advisor – our award-winning irrigation scheduling tool that delivers the information you need to decide when, where and how much to irrigate.
Scheduled to ship early this summer, Pivot Watch can now be pre-ordered through your local Lindsay dealer. It’s available with or without a pressure transducer to indicate whether water is on or off, and to display end-of-system pressure. The first year monitor-only FieldNET subscription is included with the price of Pivot Watch, which starts at $299 per pivot. After the first year, the annual subscription cost will be $100.
