The tradition of excellence continues!
“We work very hard to provide growers with technologies that will help them optimize their operations, so we’re very pleased with this recognition,” said Reece Andrews, director of FieldNET and Zimmatic Controls at Lindsay Corporation. “Pivot Control Lite is one of the latest in a long line of solutions that reinforce our commitment to lead the way in the development of innovative irrigation technologies that conserve resources and improve yields.”
Also a winner of the 2018 AE50 Award, Pivot Control Lite is a an end-of-pivot mounted controller that provides growers with a simpler, more cost-effective option for remote monitoring and control of existing and earlier model center pivots. Enabling growers to add FieldNET technology to a wider range of pivot irrigation systems, the easy-to-use solution delivers many advanced irrigation management capabilities previously only available with more advanced solutions.
“This lower cost option is the perfect solution for growers who don’t need or want some of the more premium capabilities that come with the full Pivot Control solution – such as remote start,” Andrews said. “Pivot Control Lite is an especially great solution for growers who are operating multiple brands of pivots or who have pivots on leased land, where they have no ownership of the pivot but still want the benefits of remote monitoring and control."
Andrews added that Pivot Control Lite comes with an optional cable theft detection package, so even when it’s powered off, it is actively monitoring the span cable.
